Not exercise, not a commute. A walk that is allowed to be pointless.
Almost every walk we take now has a job: steps, a dog, a podcast, a coffee at the end of it. A walk with no job feels strange for about eight minutes, and then it feels like something you have been missing.
Turn left where you usually turn right. Let the route be decided at each corner. Thirty minutes is plenty.
People report the same thing afterwards: the problem they were chewing on quietly solved itself somewhere around the halfway point.

How to actually do it
- 01Pick a day and a thirty-minute window this week.
- 02Leave the earbuds at home, not in your pocket.
- 03Decide each turn at the corner, not before you leave.
