Efficiency is a good servant and a miserable boss.
Most of our calendar is optimised: the fastest route, the cheapest option, the meeting that could have been an email but was not. Optimised days add up to an unremembered year.
This week, let one decision be made on a different basis entirely. The longer drive with the better view. The dinner that costs more but happens at the table you like.
One decision is enough to notice how rarely you use that criteria, and how much it changes the day it lands on.

How to actually do it
- 01Find one decision on this week's calendar that has two acceptable answers.
- 02Choose the one that feels more alive, not the one that scores better.
- 03Write down afterwards whether it was worth the difference.
You already know if this is the one. Go put a date on it.
