Clean up a place you use often

The park, the trail, the beach, the street you park on.

Ownership of a shared place is a strange feeling, and the fastest way to get it is to pick up two bags of somebody else's rubbish.

One hour, gloves, two bags. You will notice the place for years afterwards.

Bring a kid if you have one nearby. It is the most direct civics lesson available.
